I made two wines for Danny Meyer and his restaurant at MOMA. The labels quoted classic modern artists. For the white, MOMA sommelier Belinda Chang conceived of an Edelzwicker, a brililant, out-of-the-box idea. Edelzwicker is an Alsatian style of wine that is a melting pot of various grapes. If you can find a bottle today, it's magnificent and holding up like a timeless work of art. The Rosé was a stunning wine made from the only grape with red pulp, Alicante Bouchet.
