À Rebours

Joris-Karl Huysmans is one of my favorite writers.  À Rebours is my favorite Huysmans novel.  Jonathan Barnbrook is easily one of my favorite designers.  Yet one of the greatest disappointments of my life, one of my greatest professional failures is that I’ve never been able, for one reason or another, to get a wine finished and to market with one of Jonathan’s designs.  They’re pure genius. Every one. There are several on this site. Jonathan’s also a fan of Huysmans, so he was delighted to work with the label.  Life is not over, so maybe there’s still time to bless the world with Barnbrook wine labels.
