Anamorphosis

Perhaps my favorite wine package ever.  The brilliant Hungarian artist Istvan Orosz mastered the art of anamorphosis, a style of optical distortion used by artists from the Renaissance to Salvador Dali.  We were able to turn the wine bottle into a mirror by manufacturing a metal sleeve.  Each bottle of wine comes with a poster. The poster shows a boy holding a glass of wine in a forest.  But, when the bottle is set in the center of the poster, the reflection in the bottle transform from the poster into the image of the God of wine, Bacchus.  I don’t think I ever presented this wine without making a sale.  The wine is 100% Shiraz from a stunning old vine Northern Barossa vineyard.
